Personal Document

Fee includes: California Secretary of State and San Francisco China Consulate Authentication fee.

l  Regular Processing takes 10 business days, costs $179/document

l  Rush Processing takes 5 business days, costs $265/document

 

Authentication Process

Step 1. Get the document notarized by a local notary public or obtain a certified copy from the competent authorities.

Step 2. Send the document to the Secretary of the State in which the document is notarized for authentication.

Step 3. Apply for authentication at the Chinese Consulate General of the consular district where the document is certified. The Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco cover can only authenticate documents issued in these states/regions: Northern California, Alaska, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.

What the applicant needs to bring to our office:

ü  A completed Application Form of Notarization

ü  A copy of the applicant's passport first page

ü  A state-issued ID card.

 

Business Documents

(company power of attorney, certification of company officer's identification, company representative appointment confirmation, company meeting minute, commercial agreement, bank statement etc.)

Authentication Process

Police Clearance Letter  (Proof of No Criminal Records)

These are the fees for the clearance letter issued in the County of Santa Clara, for clearance letter issued in other counties in the Bay Area, please give us a call to confirm the additional travel fee.

l  Rush Processing takes 5 business days, costs $350/document

    What you need to bring to our office:

ü  A copy of the applicant's passport first page

ü  A copy of the applicant's driver's license

 

Please call to schedule an appointment, our notary will meet you at the county sheriff's office to notarize the signature of the police officer who issues the letter.

 

For Documents that only need California Secretary of State Apostille service

Takes 5-6 business days, costs $125/document.

 

For Documents that only need China Consulate Authentication Service
